Description

Lockheed Martin is seeking a highly skilled Field Engineer, Sr. to join our team. As a key member of our radar systems engineering team, you will be responsible for conducting technical analysis of product implementations, modifications, and enhancements to radar systems in accordance with specific customer specifications and implementations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct technical analysis of product implementations, modifications, and enhancements to radar systems
  • Troubleshoot technical problems and issues, determine technical solution in accordance with product and customer specifications, and recommend actions to company or customer representatives for coordinative product solution
  • Act as local on-site representative to customer's organization
  • Inspect, test, and adjust system components and test equipment to specific tolerances
  • Perform initial, in-process, on-site technical and quality control inspections
  • Troubleshoot radar and associated equipment assemblies, subassemblies, modular, and circuit elements for deficiencies and malfunctions
  • Repair, remove, and replace defective components and parts
  • Prepare and maintain equipment logs, equipment modification and utilization records, exchange tags, and calibration data cards
Requirements
  • Willing to perform domestic travel and/or international travel to low, medium, and high-risk security level countries
  • Must be a US citizen and possess a valid US driver's license
  • Must have an interim secret clearance to start
  • Experience maintaining radar systems
  • Demonstrated ability to work with minimal guidance
  • Demonstrated ability to read, interpret, and follow schematics
Desired Skills
  • Experience maintaining AN/TPQ-53, TPQ-36, TPQ-37, MPQ-64 radar systems
  • Experience with the US Army Test & Evaluation community
  • Previous field engineering and equipment fielding experience in support of a defense program
  • Previous military experience and deployment in support of a contingency operation
  • Working knowledge of DOD supply chain management process
  • CDL license
