Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in drafting and reviewing real estate documents, such as purchase agreements, leases, mortgages, and title papers.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence for property acquisitions and sales.
  • Organize and maintain property files and legal databases efficiently.
  • Draft and file corporate documents related to REIT operations and compliance.
  • Support the legal team with SEC filings and regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinate with external legal counsel, title companies, and other relevant parties.
  • Assist in preparing materials for board meetings and corporate minutes.
  • Research and analyze real estate laws and regulations pertinent to REIT operations.
Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal, ideally in real estate or corporate law.
  • Strong understanding of real estate transactions and REIT regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient in legal research tools and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Attention to detail and capability to work under pressure.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
