Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Foreman to join our team at Batchelor & Kimball. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for leading a crew in the field to ensure that we meet the General Contractors (GC) and Owners expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a crew of construction professionals in the field to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Ensure that all construction activities are carried out in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, including tracking units and labor hours.
  • Maintain a high level of quality in all construction work.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers and coordinate delivery of materials to the jobsite.
  • Participate in safety activities, including toolbox talks and job hazard analysis.
  • Read and understand plans, specifications, and coordination drawings.
  • Provide on-the-job guidance and training to team members.
  • Coordinate inspections and participate in punch lists.
  • Manage field crew in day-to-day production of projects.
  • Interpret blueprints and construct accordingly.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Vocational/Technical degree in a related field (Preferred).
  • 2-5 years of experience in commercial construction.
  • 2+ years of experience in field supervision.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. when necessary.
  • Ability to work outside in all types of weather.
