- Proactively identify and report contraband, maintaining a secure and respectful environment.
- Communicate and resolve issues related to housekeeping, upkeep of buildings and grounds, and patient rights.
- Assist with room preparation and common area maintenance for client admission and discharge.
- Foster a supportive environment that promotes ethical treatment and respect for patients' rights.
- Seek constructive criticism and evaluate suggestions objectively.
- Attend scheduled shifts, maintain acceptable attendance, and promote a positive work atmosphere.
- Complete required trainings, attend in-services, and educational training as necessary.
- Maintain flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
- Report suspected illnesses, contagious diseases, or safety issues to the Facility Director.
- Maintain the physical environment's safety and security.
- Communicate grievances, incidents, suspected abuse, neglect, trauma, or exploitation, safety issues, or breaches to the Supervisor.
- Solve problems independently and follow through on tasks.
- Function independently in a treatment program environment.
- Maintain up-to-date certification in CPR, Verbal De-Escalation, HIPAA, HIV/AIDS, Incident Reporting, Infection Control, Overdose Prevention, and Self-Administration of Medications (when applicable).
- Complete CLIA waived training and follow guidelines for conducting and collecting samples for tests such as Urine Drug Screening, Breathalyzer, Glucometer, and Pregnancy tests (when applicable).
- Exhibit strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, working effectively as a team member.
- Work under stressful conditions, demonstrating flexibility in relation to department needs.
- Knowledge of TJC standards within the Department.
- Demonstrate proficiency in verbal and written communication skills.
- Understand and abide by State and Federal Statutes regarding Patient Confidentiality Laws.
- Ability to understand and adhere to the Drug-Free Workplace Policies.
- Complete Harassment and Discrimination training.
- Knowledge of Corporate Integrity and Compliance Program.
- Knowledge of current technology.
- Knowledge of Substance Use Disorder, scoring above 70% on the SUD Training.
- Familiarity with community resources or knowing who to contact within the facility for community resources.
