Fleet Instrumentation Specialist

The Technical Support Specialist – Fleet Instrumentation and Controls provides electrical, mechanical, controls, and automation support for the deployed fleet of assets. This role requires close collaboration with field services, logistics, external customers, and commercial teams to provide troubleshooting and maintenance support focused on instrumentation, controls, and/or automation associated with Reverse Osmosis (RO), Ultrafiltration, and Deionization (DI) systems and other water treatment technologies.
Key Responsibilities- Provide skilled electrical, electronic, and mechanical support to Services operations.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment associated with water treatment systems at customer sites.
- Perform calibrations and configuration of instrumentation devices.
- Support and maintain remote monitoring equipment and devices for the asset performance monitoring system - InSight.
- Provide troubleshooting and technical support in person, via phone, and/or electronically.
- Collaborate with the engineering group to produce accurate and complete documentation and drawings.
- Assist in developing operations and training manuals.
- Train service technicians regarding automation and instrumentation within Veolia equipment/systems.
- Review and advise team members on operational procedures and requirements for working safely with electrical/electronic and mechanical equipment and components.
- Working knowledge of typical instrumentation used in water treatment systems.
- Ability to read and follow schematics, P&IDs, and mechanical drawings and controls documentation.
- Less than 10% travel required.
