The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Parking Lot Attendant to join our team. As a Parking Lot Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our parking facilities, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a safe and secure environment for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct motorists to parking areas or parking spaces, using hand signals or flashlights as necessary.
- Patrol parking areas to prevent vehicle damage and vehicle or property thefts.
- Calculate parking charges and collect fees from guests.
- Issue ticket stubs, or place numbered tags on windshields, and give guests matching tags for locating parked vehicles.
- Lift, position, and remove barricades to open or close parking areas.
- Inspect vehicles to detect any damage.
- Show CARE by participating in our sustainability program, which includes conserving resources and preventing waste.
- Partner with fellow team members to close the venue after events, including collecting recyclables and storing event equipment.
- Perform other tasks assigned by the Parking Manager or Supervisor.
Requirements
- One year of previous guest service experience, with the ability to provide courteous, friendly, and efficient service.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to express oneself in a professional, clear, and concise fashion.
- Constant walking and occasional sitting required.
- Presentation of a well-groomed appearance.
- A high school diploma or GED preferred.
