Position Overview:

We are currently in search of a Water Resources Project Manager with extensive experience in stormwater management, watershed planning, or water quality and quantity modeling. This role will involve supporting a diverse range of clients, including municipal, state, federal, and private entities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert project management for MS4 programs, stormwater management initiatives, and watershed restoration projects.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams as a project manager or technical lead.
  • Plan, design, and execute studies and projects utilizing both quantitative and qualitative methodologies.
  • Supervise junior staff and delegate tasks effectively within larger projects.
  • Ensure compliance and safety while managing project timelines and budgets.
  • Evaluate technical alternatives and collaborate with various engineering and scientific disciplines.
  • Engage with clients, offering technical support and training as needed.
  • Contribute to strategic marketing efforts and proposal development.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Civil or Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in project management related to MS4 programs, stormwater management, and watershed modeling.
  • At least 2 years of demonstrated project management experience, including budget and schedule oversight.
  • In-depth knowledge of pollutant sources, water quality impacts, and risk assessment.
  • Experience working with federal, state, and local clients.
  • Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams effectively.
  • Strong project management skills, with a focus on delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a knack for conducting effective meetings and preparing comprehensive reports.
