About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Calibration Technician I to join our team at Transcat, Inc. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals who are eager to learn and develop their skills in calibration and measurement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with our experienced technicians to learn calibration fundamentals, including measurement, temperature, and electronics.
  • Identify and utilize appropriate measurement techniques to ensure accurate calibration results.
  • Maintain calibration standards and ensure compliance with company requirements.
  • Develop skills in at least three disciplines, including dimensional, electrical, and torque.
  • Perform calibration work in a laboratory setting and/or at customer sites, while ensuring a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree from a college or technical school, or at least one year of related experience and/or training.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to learn new skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and work as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving history (for travel requirements).
