Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Calibration Technician to join our team at Chobani. The successful candidate will be responsible for the calibration of all equipment instruments, including troubleshooting, installation, and repair.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up testing equipment and perform calibrations electronically and mechanically on all equipment, including pressure sensors, temperature sensors, and probes, flow meters, flow sensors, chart recorders, vibration sensors, conductivity sensors, etc.
  • Enter data in our INFO systems and build spreadsheets to track calibration and equipment reliability and performance. Report progress to management weekly.
  • Schedule all calibrations, following frequencies recommended by the manufacturer of equipment as well as recommendations from quality and management.
  • Establish and update calibration SOPs as necessary.
  • Work with the INFO administrator to establish Preventive Maintenance schedules.
  • Use approved calibration techniques of the manufacturers on the equipment.
  • Attend training sessions when necessary, on and off site.
  • Complete other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent experience, plus secondary education with an emphasis on the electrical/mechanical field.
  • 1-3 years of maintenance, electrical, and electronics experience in an industrial facility, preferably a food/dairy or beverage production/manufacturing environment repairing and troubleshooting issues on packaging and filling equipment.
