Strategic Human Resources Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Human Resources Specialist to join our team at Girl Scouts of Alaska. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of human resources functions, designing and implementing legally sound HR practices and policies that support strategic business goals.
Job OverviewAs the Human Resources Manager, you will oversee the development and implementation of HR initiatives that align with the council's mission and objectives. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field, and at least two years of experience in human resources management. SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR certification is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage all aspects of human resources functions, including recruitment, talent management, benefits administration, and employee relations.
- Design and implement legally sound HR practices and policies that support strategic business goals.
In return for your expertise, we offer a competitive salary of $35.00 per hour, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 11 paid holidays, and a 403(b) retirement plan with employer match.
