Abacus Technology is seeking a skilled VoIP Administrator to provide top-notch telephone and VoIP support for Shaw AFB. This is a full-time position that requires a high level of expertise in telecommunications systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide a broad range of telecommunication support services, including routine on-going and ad hoc operations for VoIP-based phone systems, fax, voice mail, video conferencing, cellular, and paging.
  • Support installation and maintenance work, ensuring seamless operation of telecommunications systems.
  • Design, configure, and install wide-area and premise telecommunications systems, analyzing and developing telecommunications services and equipment.
  • Configure, distribute, update, and troubleshoot mobile devices, providing training to users as necessary.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience providing telecommunications support for VoIP technologies.
  • Security+ CE certification.
  • CCNA or CCNP Collaborations certification.
  • Experience in a Cisco VoIP environment, with expertise in Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) administration and Cisco Unity Connection (CUC).
  • Highly motivated, self-starter, and customer-oriented, with the ability to adapt quickly to a rapidly changing environment.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must be a US citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.
