Production Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to join our team at HSM Solutions. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our production staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate the production team to meet daily production targets and quality standards.
- Monitor production schedules and coordinate workflow to optimize productivity and efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Train and onboard new team members and provide continuous coaching and support to enhance their skills and performance.
- Collaborate with the engineering and configuration teams to optimize equipment settings and implement process improvements.
- Monitor product quality and inspect finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Resolve production-related issues and address any bottlenecks that may arise during the fabrication process.
- Maintain accurate production records and prepare reports on production metrics and performance.
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures to achieve operational excellence.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork and open communication.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in manufacturing or production management are advantageous.
- Proven experience as a Supervisor or in a similar leadership role within a manufacturing or foam fabrication environment.
- In-depth knowledge of foam fabrication techniques, production processes, and equipment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively lead and motivate the production team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet production goals.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing setting.
- Experience in lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is beneficial.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing production demands and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Positive and proactive attitude with a commitment to maintaining a culture of excellence and teamwork.
