Metrology Specialist

At US Conec Ltd, we are seeking a highly skilled Metrology Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting production and development by implementing and maintaining metrology equipment, capabilities, and processes.

• Support metrology group objectives of maintenance, calibration, verification, and procurement of metrology equipment and software.
• Maintain calibrations, standards, and procedures for measurement equipment.
• Assist in the design and development of new measuring techniques/equipment/fixtures.
• Provide technical support to production measurement operators and train production supervisors on the operation of approved measurement programs and machine troubleshooting techniques.
• Provide technical support to mold development and production personnel.
• Proficient in the area of programming measurement equipment.
• Proficient in the area of troubleshooting equipment malfunctions.
• Complete first article inspections and maintain the FAI system.

• Multi-sensor high accuracy CMM's and software.
• Confocal Microscopes and op/analysis software.
• CT scanning machines and software.
• SEM/AFM equipment.
• Microscopes and video cameras.
• Contact gauging equipment, including but not limited to pin gauges, calipers, and micrometers.
• Fiber Optic Connector Interferometer.

• Associates Degree in Applied Science or equivalent experience.
• Technical knowledge of optical connectors, and/or metrology.
