As a CBRE Technical Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the engineering operations and directing technicians, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure the smooth functioning of building systems and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, and Company directives related to building operations and work safety.
- Oversee operations, assign work orders, and provide technical and procedural training to coworkers and subcontractors.
- Consult with clients to schedule preventive maintenance and minimize business interruption.
- Formulate and implement a preventive maintenance program to ensure building machinery and systems meet or exceed their rated life.
- Oversee and inspect the work performed by engineering staff, confirming that work is complete and equipment is fully functional.
- Respond quickly to emergency situations and apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques to provide innovative solutions.
- High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience.
- Certifications/licenses as may be required by local or state jurisdictions.
- Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred.
- Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
- Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
