About the Role:

As a CBRE Technical Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the engineering operations and directing technicians, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure the smooth functioning of building systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, and Company directives related to building operations and work safety.
  • Oversee operations, assign work orders, and provide technical and procedural training to coworkers and subcontractors.
  • Consult with clients to schedule preventive maintenance and minimize business interruption.
  • Formulate and implement a preventive maintenance program to ensure building machinery and systems meet or exceed their rated life.
  • Oversee and inspect the work performed by engineering staff, confirming that work is complete and equipment is fully functional.
  • Respond quickly to emergency situations and apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques to provide innovative solutions.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience.
  • Certifications/licenses as may be required by local or state jurisdictions.
  • Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
  • Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
