Job Summary

The Plumbing Foreman/Plumbing Superintendent is a key role in our organization, responsible for supervising project teams and ensuring the highest levels of safety, pre-planning, productivity, quality, and efficiency. This individual must be highly skilled in working with teams to achieve our company's mission and core values.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ensure project progress on schedule, prioritizing safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Collaborate with Purchasing and the Project Manager to ensure materials are staged as needed and meet contractual requirements.
  • Set goals and expectations for crews, document progress, and approve timecards.
  • Teach others the trade with patience, providing feedback on safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Hold teams accountable to our standards, documenting when necessary.
  • Treat all employees and others with respect and dignity, leading by example.
  • Responsible for required Job Safety Assessments and other project documentation.
  • Attend all required meetings and create a realistic work plan and schedule (pre-plan) at least weekly.
  • Perform and support other duties or tasks assigned by the Project Manager.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Five (5) years+ in mechanical contracting working as a construction foreman or similar function.
  • Journeyman License required.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, submittals, specifications, and details.
  • Ability to effectively plan, organize, delegate, and control the work process.
  • Experience running a crew on a jobsite (3-5 people).
  • Great communication skills with crew and clients.
  • Strong interpersonal and people skills.
Physical Demands and Work Environment

The Plumbing Foreman/Plumbing Superintendent will be frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. Occasional exposure to extreme conditions at construction job sites may occur. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. The performance of work happens in outside weather conditions. Mitigate these hazards or stop work until conditions improve when applicable.
