Starlite Recovery Center offers a comprehensive treatment program for individuals struggling with co-occurring disorders. Our team of healthcare professionals provides a supportive environment for patients to build a strong foundation for long-term recovery.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing medical services to patients, conducting physical examinations, and providing necessary education and referral services.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive physical assessments of patients
  • Perform physical examinations on patients admitted for medication maintenance
  • Ensure physician medication orders are being followed
  • Refer patients to appropriate physicians and consult with the supervising physician
  • Evaluate patient care and adjust the plan of care based on outcomes and diagnostic test results
  • Provide patient and staff education on medication maintenance
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, CARF Standards, and clinic policy and procedure
  • Maintain and expand knowledge base in accordance with the requirements necessary to maintain professional certification as a Physician Assistant

Qualifications

  • Graduate of Physician Assistant program from an accredited college or university
  • Previous experience in a substance abuse treatment clinic preferred
  • No history of alcohol or drug misuse for a period of three years before employment

Licenses/Certifications

  • Board certified Physician Assistant
  • Licensed Physician Assistant able to practice in state where the clinic operates
  • DEA license
