Join Acadia Healthcare Inc. as a Physician Assistant in our Dual Diagnosis Program. As a key member of our team, you will provide medical services to patients struggling with co-occurring disorders. Your responsibilities will include conducting physical assessments, performing physical examinations, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. You will also provide patient and staff education on medication maintenance and ensure that physician medication orders are being followed. If you have a graduate degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program and previous experience in a substance abuse treatment clinic, we encourage you to apply. **Responsibilities:**

* Conduct comprehensive physical assessments of patients
* Perform physical examinations on patients admitted for medication maintenance
* Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
* Provide patient and staff education on medication maintenance
* Ensure that physician medication orders are being followed
* Evaluate patient care and adjust the plan of care based on outcomes, diagnostic test results, and patient feedback

**Qualifications:**

* Graduate degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
* Previous experience in a substance abuse treatment clinic
* Board certified Physician Assistant
* Licensed Physician Assistant able to practice in the state where the clinic operates
* DEA license
