Position Overview:


The Investment Analyst will collaborate closely with fellow investment experts and will be a key contributor in assessing new investment prospects through comprehensive market research and detailed analysis, financial modeling, and asset valuation.

The ideal candidate will gain exposure to a diverse array of commercial real estate investment strategies within a dynamic and demanding environment.


Key Responsibilities:
1. Participate in the underwriting and due diligence processes for new commercial real estate investment opportunities.
2. Construct and refine intricate financial models and asset valuation tools to inform investment decisions.
3. Project operating performance, financial forecasts, and business plan scenarios tailored to specific deals.
4. Support asset management initiatives by performing financial analyses and formulating and executing business plans.
5. Aid in preparing asset-level recommendations for senior leadership.
6. Develop strategic plans for assigned properties and contribute to overarching portfolio strategies.
7. Create and maintain property valuation models utilizing Excel and ARGUS software.
8. Generate periodic asset-level reporting.
9. Assist in guiding third-party property managers in the development and execution of operating budgets, including capital and leasing strategies.
10. Prepare regular performance update reports for senior leadership.
11. Contribute to ad hoc strategic projects as needed.

Required Qualifications:
- Strong quantitative abilities and proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced proficiency in cash flow and investment modeling (Excel and Argus).

Educational Background:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution is required.

Experience:
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in the commercial real estate sector, investment banking, or finance is required (title will be aligned with experience level).
- Prior knowledge of acquisition due diligence and asset management processes is highly desirable.

Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to summarize data using formulas, lookups, Pivot Tables, and conditional formatting.

Work Environment:
- This role operates within a professional office setting.
- Work hours may vary based on business needs.
- Minimal travel is required, typically less than 10%, and will be domestic.
