Job Overview

LP Analyst is a leading provider of private asset analytics and consulting solutions. We work closely with institutional investors and fund managers to deliver actionable intelligence and drive informed decision-making.

As a Private Equity Analyst, you will play a key role in helping our clients achieve success by overseeing and executing reporting and analytics for multiple institutional investor program clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and execute reporting and analytics for multiple institutional investor program clients
  • Analyze and structure private asset fund data, including performance, underlying investment, and cash flow details
  • Exposure to diverse strategies, including private equity, venture, real estate, infrastructure, debt, and more
  • Coordinate with private asset managers to collect relevant data
  • Create client-specific reporting and dashboard analytics
  • Collaborate with clients to better understand unique requirements
  • Perform 'ad-hoc' research on private asset strategies
  • Participate in projects focused on fund manager due diligence, secondary fund, and direct transaction valuation

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, economics, math, or a related field (minimum 3.0 GPA)
  • 0-3 years of prior work experience in a business-related field
  • Strong Excel skills, including advanced formulas and functions (VBA/macros a plus)
  • Strong PowerPoint proficiency (experience working on client deliverables a plus)
  • Exceptional attention to detail when managing and analyzing large data sets
  • Ability to work as part of a growing team to implement and improve processes and technology
  • High self-motivation, ability to learn quickly, meet deadlines, and seek additional leadership roles
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Positive attitude, energy, and enthusiasm for learning about private assets and financial analytics
