Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide outstanding customer service to clients, potential clients, and bank personnel through face-to-face, email, and telephone communications:
    • Engage with all clients visiting the branch
    • Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills while maintaining a professional demeanor
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of banking operations pertinent to the position:
    • Follow established procedures to mitigate banking risks
    • Adhere to bank policies and regulatory requirements
    • Review designated reports daily as needed
    • Complete operational tasks with accuracy and efficiency
  • Act as the primary contact for new account openings:
    • Possess comprehensive knowledge of bank products and service fees to address client needs or direct them appropriately
    • Build and sustain relationships with the relationship management team and internal departments
    • Understand account ownership and required documentation as per regulations
    • Accurately input account details into relevant systems during the account creation process
  • Process teller transactions with accuracy and speed:
    • Manage cash drawer in accordance with bank policies
    • Assist in training new team members under the supervision of management if necessary
  • Perform any additional assigned tasks and special projects
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • A minimum of one year of relevant experience
  • Experience in cash handling, customer service, and new account management is preferred
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel is beneficial
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and colleagues
  • Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to engage with clients and exhibit professionalism
Compliance Duties: The employee is responsible for ensuring compliance with job-related laws and regulations, participating in training sessions and meetings, and staying informed through relevant materials. Applicable laws and regulations include the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC), Vendor Management, Information and Data Security, and SEC regulations regarding corporate governance and disclosure.
