Job Title: Regional Property Manager

Gorman & Company is seeking a highly skilled Regional Property Manager to join our team. As a Regional Property Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of our properties in the Milwaukee and Madison areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our residents and prospective residents.
  • Lead the property management team, including recruiting, hiring, training, and evaluating team members.
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations and review monthly financial statements.
  • Complete regular inspections to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and fiscally responsible operations.
  • Negotiate service contracts and act as Property Manager for one or more communities in the absence of on-site management.
  • Determine prospective resident needs through phone calls, apartment tours, and internet marketing.
  • Maintain relationships with partners, resident service coordinators, and communities.
  • Adhere to established Fair Housing policies.
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the Milwaukee and Madison areas.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Five years Property Management or equivalent experience required; experience as a Regional Manager preferred.
  • Experience in Section 8, HUD, Public Housing, or LIHTC required.
  • Experience working with vulnerable populations, including homeless, developmentally disabled, veterans, and a wide variety of cultures.
  • Confident, positive, and friendly with the ability to connect with a wide range of people.
  • Ability to multitask and be collaborative.
  • Computer skills and experience with MS Office.
