Key Responsibilities:
  • Foster open communication between parents and caregivers to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all.
  • Develop and implement developmentally appropriate classroom activities that promote learning and growth.
  • Assist with curriculum development and provide feedback to ensure alignment with state and federal regulations.
  • Stay up-to-date on state licensing regulations and ensure compliance in all aspects of childcare operations.
  • Support teaching staff with transitions and behavior management to create a positive and inclusive environment.
  • Assist the Child Care Manager with scheduling, managing reservations, and contracts to ensure seamless operations.
  • Oversee daily check-in and check-out procedures, manage reservations as needed, and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Develop and implement staff professional development and orientation/policy training to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by the Child Care Manager to ensure the success of the childcare program.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education required; Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Teacher Associate or Supervisor in a licensed childcare program; 1-2 years of supervision and staff management experience.
  • Knowledge of state legislation, regulation, and policies; First Aid & CPR certification; proficiency in Windows, Word, Outlook, and Excel.
