Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child Care Teacher to join our team at Stratton Mountain Resort. As a Child Care Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children, promoting their physical, emotional, and cognitive development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that encourage engagement and participation
  • Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers to ensure seamless transitions and shared goals
  • Supervise and guide Teacher Assistants and Classroom Aides to ensure compliance with state regulations
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to state licensing requirements and regulations
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • At least 21 college credits in Early Education or a qualifying Associate's Degree
  • Must meet or exceed Vermont standards for Teacher Associate position
  • At least 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare center or as an Early Elementary Educator
