We are a locally owned and managed business dedicated to providing a fun and safe learning environment for children and adults of all ages and abilities.
The PositionWe are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our team. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching swimming lessons to children and adults, following the British Swim School aquatics program.
Responsibilities- Instruct swimming lessons in accordance with British Swim School training and program standards
- Work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, mornings, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs
- Create a fun, professional, and safe environment for all students and parents
- Assist and guide parents and swimmers on the pool deck as needed
- 18 years of age or older and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Enthusiastic personality
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Comfortable leading in a small group setting
- Comfortable in and around the water
- Strong swimming skills are a plus but can be taught and developed
- Experience working with children
- Customer service skills: 1 year preferred
- Swim Instructor or general teaching experience preferred but not required
Pay starts at $17-25/hour, based on experience and with possible opportunities for promotions/pay increases. Paid training and opportunities for growth within the organization are also available.
