Join Our Team as a Hospice Music Therapist

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Music Therapist to join our team at AccentCare. As a Hospice Music Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing emotional support and comfort to our patients and their families.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires a Board Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) with a strong background in music therapy and a passion for working with patients in a hospice setting. You will be responsible for creating personalized music therapy plans to meet the unique needs of each patient, as well as collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement music therapy plans for patients in a hospice setting
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care
  • Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families
  • Document patient progress and outcomes
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Music with a concentration in Music Therapy and/or Music Therapy from an American Music Therapy Association (AMTA) approved university
  • Board Certification as a Music Therapist (MT-BC) by the Certification Board for Music Therapy (CBMT)
  • Reliable automobile, valid driver's license, and minimum state required liability auto insurance
