Overview

AccentCare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Music Therapist to join our team. As a Music Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with patients in a hospice setting, providing personalized care and support to help them achieve their goals.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care for patients, utilizing music therapy techniques and models to promote physical, emotional, and social well-being.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients and their families.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on music therapy techniques and benefits.
  • Conduct music therapy sessions in a variety of settings, including patient rooms, therapy rooms, and outdoor spaces.
  • Document patient progress and outcomes, and maintain accurate records of music therapy sessions.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Music Therapy or a related field.
  • Board Certification as a Music Therapist (MT-BC) by the Certification Board for Music Therapy (CBMT).
  • Valid driver's license and reliable automobile.
  • 2 years of experience as a Music Therapist in a healthcare setting, or equivalent experience in a related field.
