Overview

AccentCare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Music Therapist to join our team. As a Music Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with patients in a hospice setting, providing personalized care and support to help them navigate the end-of-life journey.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized music therapy plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families through music
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care and support
  • Document patient progress and outcomes
Requirements
  • Board Certification as a Music Therapist (MT-BC) by the Certification Board for Music Therapy (CBMT)
  • Master's Degree in Music Therapy or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in music therapy, preferably in a hospice or palliative care setting
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
