Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Classroom Support
    • Assist the Lead Teacher in preparing materials and implementing lesson plans.
    • Supervise and engage with children during activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Childcare and Education
    • Develop and implement activities that promote learning and development.
    • Assist children with daily routines, including mealtimes and cleanup.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Assist with Academy and classroom paperwork, including daily notes and attendance reports.
    • Participate in staff meetings and Academy events.
  • Additional Responsibilities
    • Accept temporary work assignments in the absence of regular staff.
    • Perform other similar or related duties as necessary.
Requirements
  • Education and Training
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Meet all state and local licensing requirements for the position.
  • Experience and Skills
    • Previous experience in childcare or education.
    • Ability to lift no less than 40 pounds to at least waist high on a consistent basis.
