- Consult with Patients: Educate patients on their benefits, coverage, and financial options to ensure informed decision-making.
- Provide High-Level Customer Service: Greet patients and visitors to the office and provide exceptional customer service to create a positive experience.
- Excellent Phone Etiquette: Possess strong communication skills and a professional demeanor when interacting with patients and colleagues.
- Minimum 2 Years of Applicable Work Experience: Demonstrate a proven track record of success in a similar role, with a strong understanding of insurance/benefits, medical terminology, and medical billing.
- High School Diploma Required: Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in mathematics and communication.
- Extensive Knowledge of Insurance/Benefits, Medical Terminology, and Medical Billing: Stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices to ensure accurate and timely billing.
- Experience Working in an OB/GYN Office (Preferred): Possess experience working in an OB/GYN office, with a strong understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in this field.
- Strong Communication Skills, Independent Worker, Detailed-Oriented, Computer Savvy: Possess a strong work ethic, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- High Level of Customer Service Essential: Demonstrate a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, with a strong focus on patient satisfaction and retention.
