Job Summary

This role involves overseeing the daily operations of a Patient Access department, focusing on implementing process improvements and ensuring efficient patient flow. Key responsibilities include managing staff, developing action plans, and communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Implement process improvement initiatives to achieve Conifer and client goals.
  • Develop and implement action plans as identified.
  • Manage staffing activities, including documentation, selection, wage/salary activities, orientation, and training.
  • Communicate proactively and positively with direct supervisor to ensure personal growth in knowledge and skill set.

Financial Responsibility: Varies based on hospital size, volume, and payor mix.

  • Bed size: Up to 300 beds.
  • Points of Entry: 1-7 points of entry (clinic/satellite is 1 POE).
  • Under $200M in Net Patient Revenue.
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Direct Reports: Manager or Supervisors, Patient Access.
  • Indirect Reports: Rep, PA I-IV; Rep, PA Scheduler.
  • Reports to: DIR, PA SITE II; DIR, MARKET; or SR. DIR, PA OPS.
