Respiratory Care Pract II: Delivering Exceptional Patient Care

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Care Practitioner to join our team at Methodist Hospital. As a key member of our respiratory care department, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care and making a positive impact on the lives of our patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform and document patient assessments, including breath sounds, airway patency, and cuff pressure.
- Conduct diagnostic procedures to evaluate the need for and response to respiratory therapy.
- Administer respiratory care therapies, including oxygen delivery, aerosol medication delivery, and chest physiotherapy.
- Assist with placement of artificial airways and initiate, monitor, and maintain mechanical ventilation.
- Monitor patient responses to therapy and notify providers as needed.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 90 days of employment start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
- State Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician (CRTT).
