We're seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team in Alameda, CA. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical systems and components for our medical devices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lay out and construct prototype tools and fixtures required for development purposes.
  • Conduct evaluations, tests, and analyses related to feasibility and function.
  • Perform troubleshooting and fault isolation activities on a variety of breadboards and hybrids.
  • Conduct measurements specified in design verification plans, document and tabulate results, and provide engineering test reports.
  • Document custom tools with specifications, schematics, and mechanical layouts to support document control and tool release.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical/electronic engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant work experience in performing the layout, construction, and evaluation of a variety of prototype printed circuit boards, fixtures, and tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop new design features as part of existing systems.
  • Documented record of delivering tool engineering information that adds value to management's decision-making process.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and comply with applicable FDA regulations and company operating procedures, processes, policies, and tasks.
