Certified Medication Assistant

Cassia is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Trained Medication Aide (TMA) to contribute to our exceptional health care services.
As a vital member of our esteemed facility, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents. We are looking for an individual who excels in building relationships with residents and patients, demonstrating teamwork while also being capable of working autonomously.
This is a Full-Time role with shifts spanning 12 hours.
Shift Hours: 6:30 am to 7:00 pm

Key Responsibilities of the Trained Medication Aide (TMA):
- Prepare and administer prescribed medications.
- Assist residents in achieving and maintaining optimal performance and independence while providing personal care and support with daily activities.
- Review and adhere to established care plans.
- Measure and document vital signs such as pulse, temperature, and blood pressure using modern computerized systems.
- Support various resident needs, including responding to calls for assistance and aiding residents with mobility.
- Monitor resident behavior and report any changes in condition to the supervising staff.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Valid Nursing Assistant certification in North Dakota is mandatory.
- Current TMA certification in North Dakota is required.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with residents and colleagues.
- Ability to stand for extended periods during an 8-hour shift.
- A collaborative spirit with a passion for elder care and adaptability to dynamic situations.
