About the Role

Boeing is seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Maintenance Specialist to join their team in San Antonio, Texas. As a key member of the Boeing Global (BGS) business organization, this position will focus on supporting the company's mission to deliver innovative solutions to the aerospace industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform flight controls installation, removal, and rigging, as well as landing gear and servicing of aircraft.
  • Conduct essential component change outs, including servo pumps, filters, and engine components.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical orders, process specifications, and retrofit requirements to perform structural modification/repair.
  • Access aircraft data via computer systems and initiate online parts and discrepancy requests.
  • Maintain necessary certifications, licenses, and permits as required for assigned work.
  • Lead teams through complex aircraft-related tasks and prioritize workload to maintain schedules on assigned projects.
  • Ensure all equipment is used in accordance with established safety and operating procedures.
  • Diagnose and correct malfunctions occurring in assembly processes.
  • Use precision measuring instruments, gauges, tools, etc., necessary to check dimensions and conformance to quality requirements.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in Depot Level/Heavy General maintenance.
  • 3+ years of experience working various aircraft exterior and interior systems, including hydraulic, flight control, monuments, landing gears, fuel systems, and engines.
  • 3+ years of experience in working with schematics, specifications, assembly drawings, and standard operating procedures.
  • Willingness to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with F-15/Fighter or Depot Level/Modification maintenance.
  • Experience performing aircraft engine runs and engine borescope inspections.
  • Ability to operate an aircraft tug/tow vehicle, forklift, mobile crane, and riding type electric powered elevating equipment to accomplish work assignments.
