We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Investment Banking Executive to join our Equity Capital Markets team at HSBC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for originating, structuring, and executing equities, equity-linked, and strategic equity transactions on behalf of our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Originate and execute transactions covered by the team, working closely with Global Markets teams in sales, research, and trading to deliver capital markets advice to our corporate clients.
- Manage the day-to-day execution process, liaising both internally with other teams within HSBC and with clients and other advisors externally.
- Interact with the investment banking team, industry sector banking teams, and other capital markets teams in other regions to drive business growth and development.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues in the wider ECM, ELCM, and SEF businesses, as well as other stakeholders across Global Banking, Commercial Banking, and Global Markets.
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Business, or a related field.
- At least 6 years of progressive post-baccalaureate related work experience, with a minimum of 5 years in financial analysis, transaction structuring, and investor management.
- Qualifying experience must include at least 4 years of ECM experience, working as part of a multiple deal team for equity capital markets transactions with increasing levels of leadership roles.
- Must have or be able to obtain FINRA Series 63 and 79 licenses.
