About the Role

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Healthcare Administration Professor to join our faculty at DeVry University. As a key member of our academic team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to our students and contributing to the development of our healthcare administration programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver curriculum for healthcare administration courses, ensuring alignment with industry standards and academic excellence.
  • Design and implement new courses, as well as update existing ones, based on evolving field trends and student feedback.
  • Support the assessment and evaluation of course effectiveness and student learning outcomes.
  • Address and resolve curriculum-related issues submitted by students and faculty.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the Teaching & Learning department to develop and deliver courses within the healthcare administration domain.
  • Teach courses within the healthcare administration program, demonstrating excellence in course delivery and student engagement.
  • Advise and mentor students to support their academic and professional growth.
  • Contribute to university service through active participation in curriculum committees and other college initiatives.
  • Support and advise visiting professors on curriculum-related matters.
  • Engage in professional development activities, including staying current in the field and participating in relevant scholarly activities.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Doctorate Degree in a field related to healthcare administration, as well as significant experience in curriculum development, teaching, and research. You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
