We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Quality Control & Logistics Coordinator to join our client's team in managing high-value and high-security freight. You will be responsible for coordinating logistics and ensuring the safe and timely transport of critical shipments. In this role, you will work closely with carrier sales teams, freight forwarders and security teams to ensure seamless execution of deliveries. This position requires precision, excellent communication skills and a strong sense of responsibility.

Quality Control & Logistics Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage logistics loads, including shipments with high-value freight worth up to $1 million on a single pallet
  • Collaborate with carrier sales teams to secure bookings and arrange pickups, often from airports or other high-security locations
  • Communicate with freight forwarders and security teams to coordinate seamless pick-ups and deliveries
  • Utilize the load planning and tracking system in place to ensure strong communication and accurate scheduling
  • Maintain high attention to detail when managing load information, tracking shipments and communicating with stakeholders
  • Use Excel for reporting, tracking and managing logistics data, ensuring accuracy in all documentation
  • Work closely with various teams, including customer service, operations and security, to ensure that shipments meet all safety and compliance standards
  • Handle complex logistics challenges and adapt to the dynamic nature of the industry
  • Ensure that all shipments adhere to safety, security and compliance regulations, particularly for pharmaceutical and high-security freight
  • Collaborate with security teams when necessary, ensuring all high-value shipments are handled with the utmost care
  • Complete training and onboarding to ensure familiarity with our processes and systems, such as Ne-Cloud
  • Contribute to a team-oriented, fun work environment with problem-solving at the forefront


Quality Control & Logistics Coordinator Requirements:

  • Previous logistics or freight experience preferred. Familiarity with high-value freight is a plus
  • Proficiency in Excel is a must. Experience with load planning/tracking software is highly desired
  • A strong focus on accuracy and an ability to maintain detailed records is critical
  • Ability to quickly resolve logistical challenges
  • Must be a team player who cares about the quality and security of the work
  • Strong sense of responsibility and care for customer needs
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple tasks
  • Precise attention to detail, communication and organization skills
