Senior Hardware Engineer - SatCom Electronics

Blue Signal Search is seeking a highly skilled Senior Hardware Engineer - SatCom Electronics to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing cutting-edge communication hardware, encompassing the full hardware development lifecycle.

This role will focus on the development of embedded hardware systems, taking concepts from schematic creation to production launch, including layout design, component specification, and hardware testing. You will conduct hardware bring-up and prototyping, ensuring system performance aligns with project goals and technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop embedded hardware systems, including schematic creation, layout design, and component specification.
  • Conduct hardware bring-up and prototyping, ensuring system performance aligns with project goals and technical specifications.
  • Lead efforts in ensuring compliance with EMI/EMC regulations, implementing effective mitigation techniques for standards such as FCC, CE, UL, and ATEX.
  • Collaborate with product management and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless product lifecycle management, ERP integration, and document control.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in hardware design, with a focus on satellite communications or related industries.
  • Expertise in embedded system development, from schematic design to production-ready hardware.
  • Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB design tools (Altium or similar).
  • In-depth knowledge of analog, digital, and RF circuit design and troubleshooting.
