Electrical Engineering Leadership Opportunity

Sci-Rec is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead our product development team in designing and developing cutting-edge, life-saving products and software solutions for EMS and hospitals.

Job Summary:

As a Principal Electrical Engineer, you will bring extensive expertise in electronic hardware design and development, innovating independently to solve electrical challenges in product development. You will oversee the design of new products or major upgrades, manage team members, schedules, and budgets, and lead a team of 1 to 15 towards project goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects throughout the product development process.
  • Lead the development of critical, complex hardware.
  • Help define electrical requirements, focusing on feasibility, system analysis, and software/hardware integration.
  • Serve as the lead architect for complex electrical projects.
  • Independently design and develop advanced electronic hardware.
  • Contribute significantly to hardware documentation.
  • Play a key role in systems engineering and defining system requirements for new or updated products.
  • Act as a senior reviewer for electrical design, code, and documentation.
  • Mentor and share expertise with other engineers.

Requirements:

  • 12+ years' experience in electronic hardware design.
  • Leadership experience required.
  • Demonstrated accomplishments in electronics design and product development.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • BS in electrical engineering.
  • MS degree preferred.
