Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair faults in heavy construction equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Conduct regular preventative maintenance on equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure smooth operation.
  • Operate and maintain electronic diagnostic equipment to identify and troubleshoot issues.
  • Read and interpret technical manuals and schematics to understand complex equipment systems.
  • Identify, order, and replace damaged or worn-out parts to maintain equipment reliability.
  • Keep detailed records and reports on all repairs and maintenance activities to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently, and to share knowledge and best practices.
Requirements
  • Must have a strong mechanical aptitude and analytical skills to understand complex equipment systems.
  • Two plus years' experience in repairing heavy equipment, with a background in hydraulics and AC/DC electric.
  • Welding and/or rigging experience is a plus, as is experience working on construction equipment such as cranes, winches, and hydraulic power units.
  • Able to perform physical requirements of the job, including lifting, climbing, and working in inclement weather.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to different job sites, with a clean driving record and ability to pass a MVR check.
