Senior Manager, Asset Management Tax Technology Expert

KPMG-UnitedStates is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager to join our Business Tax Services practice. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading strategic initiatives and driving efficiencies across the full life cycle of deliverables.
Key Responsibilities- Lead key strategic initiatives with KPMG's Securities Analyzer (SA) Center of Excellence (CoE), including expansion of the team and onboarding of strategic clients.
- Drive efficiencies across the full life cycle of deliverables while reducing overall costs and risks.
- Work with AMP leadership to further develop the overall Center of Excellence strategy, including standardization of processes, improvement of internal controls, and enabling our people to drive quality.
- Interface with external clients, internal stakeholders, and team members in all phases of deliverables and manage client expectations.
- Support go-to-market efforts and client onboardings for SA as needed.
- Oversee work product, manage deadlines, expectations, contributing to staffing decisions, and supervising the work performed by SA CoE personnel.
- Minimum eight years of recent experience in a combination of fund tax compliance and tax technology experience gained in a well-regarded audit, tax or advisory services firm, asset management firm or technology service provider.
- Minimum five years of recent tax compliance experience with a good understanding of tax compliance systems such as Thompson or CCH products.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience.
- Licensed CPA, JD/LLM or EA, in addition to others on KPMG's approved credential listing.
- Knowledge of tax compliance or fund accounting with an understanding of Fund Accounting systems such as InvestOne, MCH, or Geneva is a plus.
- Possess advanced analytic skills including strategic thinking and planning, complex data analysis and excellent verbal and written skills.
