Job Summary:

The Neurodiagnostic Technologist II performs neurodiagnostic procedures according to the American Society of Electroneurodiagnostic Technologists guidelines. The position can perform test set up, electrode application, and maintain patient safety during clinically significant events and other related duties. Provides findings, results and a descriptive analysis according to the facility policy and procedures. Strong well-developed communication skills are essential for this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform neurodiagnostic procedures according to established guidelines
  • Set up and apply electrodes for testing
  • Maintain patient safety during testing
  • Provide findings, results, and descriptive analysis according to facility policy and procedures
  • Develop and maintain strong communication skills

Work Environment:

This position is part-time, working 24 hours per week, with nights and rotating weekend shifts. The work location is in the Saint Petersburg, FL area.

Qualifications:

  • BLS Certification
  • Registered EEG Technologist
  • At least one year of experience
  • Associate's Degree or higher from an accredited college or university is preferred
  • OR Graduate of an accredited Electroneurodiagnostic program with a minimum of a High School diploma, GED, Certificate of Completion or equivalent achievement
