Job Summary

Mount Holyoke College seeks a highly skilled and experienced professional to serve as the Assistant Vice President for Diversity Operations. This key leadership position will play a critical role in advancing the College's commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership and vision for the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI)
  • Develop and implement policies, strategies, and programs to advance diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Collaborate with campus stakeholders to design and implement diversity action plans
  • Manage the daily operations of the DEI Office and supervise key staff members
  • Develop and disseminate DEI communications and reports
  • Work closely with the Alum Association to advance the vision for diversity and inclusion
Requirements
  • Ph.D./Ed.D. preferred; Master's degree with at least 8-10 years of experience in diversity, equity, and inclusion or a related field
  • Experience in an academic institution of higher education preferred
  • Strong relationships with alum communities an asset
  • Demonstrated collaborative decision-making and project management skills
  • Experience serving as a strategic, values-based leader and thought partner
  • Advanced knowledge of analytical, statistical, and data visualization tools
  • Strong budget management skills
Working Conditions
  • Requires high level of social contact and communication with students, alum, staff, and faculty daily
  • Mostly an indoor work environment
  • Flexible, hybrid working environment
