Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and attentive In-Room Dining Server to join our team at The Ritz-Carlton. As a key member of our food and beverage team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is nothing short of exceptional.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Set tables according to type of event and service standards, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for our guests.
  • Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, the length of wait, re-cook orders, and product availability, ensuring seamless service.
  • Record transactions in our MICROS system at the time of order, maintaining accurate records and ensuring seamless service.
  • Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverages, addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of work areas, china, glass, etc., throughout the day, ensuring a clean and safe environment for our guests.
  • Complete closing duties, including restocking items, turning off lights, etc., ensuring a smooth transition to the next day.
  • Present physical and accurate checks to guests and process payment, ensuring a seamless payment experience.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 1 year of related work experience in a food and beverage setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Physical stamina to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, with the ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
