Job Summary

As a Server at The Ritz-Carlton, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests by serving food and beverages, setting tables, and answering questions about menu selections. You will also communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, the length of wait, re-cook orders, and product availability. Additionally, you will record transactions in the MICROS system, check in with guests to ensure satisfaction, and maintain the cleanliness of work areas.

Responsibilities

  • Serve food and beverages to guests
  • Set tables according to type of event and service standards
  • Answer questions on menu selections
  • Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, the length of wait, re-cook orders, and product availability
  • Record transactions in the MICROS system
  • Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction
  • Maintain the cleanliness of work areas

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of related work experience
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance
