About the Role

Tetra Tech is seeking a skilled Contracts Specialist to support the implementation of worldwide USAID, MCC, multilateral development bank, and other commercially funded projects in the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide contractual advice to global project offices and project managers
  • Ensure compliance with company and client regulations, policies, and contracts
  • Prepare procurement documentation, including purchase orders, subcontracts, and independent consultant agreements
  • Support technical staff and field project offices in determining appropriate acquisition instruments
  • Perform cost/price analysis of subcontractor bids and proposals
  • Assist with contract start-up and close-out processes
  • Monitor compliance deadlines and submit required contractual reports and documentation
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in international development, business administration, or a related field
  • 1-3 years of relevant procurement work experience with USAID contracts
  • Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations System and AIDAR
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
  • Fluency in a foreign language
  • Prior work experience or knowledge of Purchasing System Review (CPSR) and its application to Federal government contracts/subcontracts
