Job Summary

Husco International is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering customer specifications for entire projects, collaborating with multi-disciplined teams, and launching production of state-of-the-art solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own project launch, working closely with teams on 1-2 committed customer applications, from prototype build and verification testing through production launch.
  • Maintain design control of assigned products, understanding form, fit, and function, and leveraging that understanding to optimize products.
  • Provide exemplary customer service and communication, working closely with customers during project launch to execute requests and respond to questions.
  • Rapidly expand product knowledge, abilities, and toolkit to apply to product design and program launch.
  • Demonstrate project management and technical expertise, including scheduling, tracking, team assignments, and resource allocation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum of three years of experience, including demonstrated ability to create, develop, and implement new product or operations concepts.
  • Exposure to product design, verification testing, supplier development, and customer support.
  • Ability to make good decisions based on limited information.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic control systems and their applications.
  • Strong oral, written, and listening communication skills.
  • Knowledge of engineering drawing practices and GD&T.
  • Team-oriented, leadership/mentoring skills.
  • Ability to work independently and interact with people at all levels of responsibility.
Working Conditions

This position requires sitting, standing, or walking 50%, lifting 25%, and bending or kneeling 25% of the time. The individual will be required to lift materials weighing up to 50 lbs frequently and may come into contact with office hazards.
