About the Role

Cleveland Clinic Tradition Hospital is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer to join our team of dedicated caregivers. As an Echo Technician Registered, PRN, you will play a vital role in providing top-quality patient care to the communities in and around Port St. Lucie.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform echocardiograms, stress tests, and other diagnostic procedures to assess heart function and detect potential issues.
  • Assist cardiologists with transesophageal echocardiograms and provide training to students, residents, and physicians.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including ICD9 codes, and consult with cardiologists to interpret test results.
  • Provide testing for emergency patients and maintain up-to-date documentation and files.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a two-year cardiovascular technologist program.
  • Active Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) registry status from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA).
