About the Role:

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer to join our team of caregivers. As an Echocardiogram Technician, you will play a critical role in providing top-quality patient care to the communities in and around Port St. Lucie.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs echocardiograms, stress test, stress echoes, and Dobutamine stress echo.
  • Assists cardiologist with transesophageal echocardiograms.
  • Consults with cardiologist for interpretation of test results.
  • Maintains records of testing for documentation.
  • Provides daily account of patient's charge requisition with appropriate ICD9 codes.
  • Provides training and acts as a resource for echocardiogram students, residents and physicians.
  • Provides testing for add-on emergency patients.
  • Maintains complete and up-to-date documentation and files at all times, including products and service quotes.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from two (2) year cardiovascular technologist program.
  • Active Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) registry status from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA).
