Position Overview


As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care under the supervision of registered nurses. Key Responsibilities

  • Patient Care: Assist with various patient care tasks, including monitoring vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and providing comfort during medical procedures.
  • Documentation: Accurately record patient information and care provided, ensuring compliance with medical standards and protocols.
  • Supportive Tasks: Collect specimens, assist with basic lab procedures, and help maintain patient records and charts.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with patients and healthcare staff regarding patient needs and condition changes.
  • Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergency situations, ensuring patient safety and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance skills and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations.

Qualifications

  • Completion of an accredited nursing assistant program.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification.
  • Certification as a Nurse Aide in the relevant state.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, and lift patients regularly.
  • Capability to perform repetitive motions and maintain focus on patient care tasks.
